使用方法
  1. 使用注射管取2ml需要測試的水至測試瓶。
  2. 加入5滴的Mg-1
  3. 加入1平匙的Mg-2粉到測試瓶中，並均勻搖晃10秒鐘
  4. 將紅色針頭裝在1ml注射管上，確定針頭浸入試劑中，使用注射筒取1ml的Mg-3。

  6. 緩慢地將試劑滴入測試瓶，每次請滴入1滴並搖晃均勻，直到顏色轉為灰色或藍色(小提示：如果你大概知道需要多少量的試劑，可先加入約80%試劑，均勻搖晃10秒，再慢慢滴入直到顏色轉變)
  7. 將針頭朝上，閱讀注射筒上的刻度(黑色活塞的上緣)，並對照數值表即可得出鎂數值。

Salifert Mg

Magnesium helps to maintain the correct combination of calcium concentration and alkalinity as it slows down the formation of calcium carbonate which can absorb many important trace elements within the aquarium.
  • Results are not affected by strontium and calcium interference
  • Can be used for marine water only
  • Calcium and strontium will not interfere when their total concentration is between 200 and 650 ppm. 
Instructions:
  1. Add with the 2ml syringe 2ml of water to the test viral.
  2. Add 5 drops of Mg-1.
  3. Add one spoon of Mg-2 powder (spoon included) to the test vial and swirl for 10 seconds.
  4. Place the plastic tip firmly on the 1ml syringe and draw into this Mg-3 reagent until the lower end of the black syringe part is at the 1.00ml mark.
  5. Ensure that during this that the plastic tip is submersed in the MG-3 regent to avoid air bubbles being withdrawn instead of liquid. An air layer between the end of the tip and the piston is normal. This is air which was present between the end of the top and the piston, this will not influence the result.
  6. Start adding the Mg-3 reagent with the 1ml syringe to the test vial until the colour changes to grey or blue (whichever colour is observed first) Do this drop wise and swirl after each drop for a second or two. You can add apron 80% of the expected amount of the solution all at once.
  7. Hold the syringe with he top facing upward and read the position of the upper end of the black syringe part. Each devision corresponds to 0.001ml. The magnesium concentration can be obtained from the table.
